A walk at the park with a pet. Cocktails at a hotel bar with friends. Watching the late afternoon light on the scene out the window, all alone. The body is busy with all of it’s senses, storing memories. My paintings are celebrations of mine - happy, surprising, moments of joy, that are often quiet and small. I hope they give you joy, also.

Jessica Stanfill was born and raised in Sacramento, California, earned a BA in Studio Art at the University of California at Davis, and went on to study at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, earning a Post-Baccalaureate and a MFA in Painting & Drawing.
